I made a scene in which i have grass (hair) and multiple lights: 3 different lights on the island and a physical sky+Sun as a main light. Now for some reason everytime i render it seems like the sky environment only grades the part where there is a physical object underneath the grass. I can't seem to fix it so doesn anyone have a clue?

Thanks!

Not sure what you mean. Grades the part?

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what to call it. I was trying to ask how to fix the different coloured grass on the edges. If you look closely you can see that everywhere where there is no physical model underneath the grass, the color is different. I'm not sure if this is a lighting issue or something else.

Here's a better example:

ah, 'behind' not underneath... Hair seems to be translucent (or transparent) as long as something luminous is behind it (true for an object with a luminant texture behind, also a sky object which is also luminous) even when translucency/transparency are set to zero (or turned off).
I don't know a way to stop that (someone else might) except making more hair/grass, more curve/link/thickness or changing the Type in the Hair's Generate tab to one of the physical hairs (Flat probably) but then you'd have to retexture.
Hopefully someone else knows a way to stop the translucence/transparency.

Thanks a bunch! I'm going to try and play with those settings :)
Hopefully this is the solution! :D

Looks fine to me but it's probably due to the hair transparency setting.
