I have with cuboid with cloth colliders with a strip of plane attached to it via the cloth belt tag that also has the cloth tag. The cuboid is controlled with a bunch of deformers which was set-up,whenever I run a simulation of deforming the cuboid with the deformers or when I don't interact with the deformers at all,the strip of plane cloth just passes through it
Is there a way to fix this? I can't remove the deformers or change the cuboid
we'd probably have to know more about the version you are using and maybe see the scene file to tell. Cloth and belting are made to work with deformers by default. Though they were thinking characters with bones/joints as the deformers when they created it a quick test here (simple test) shows that cloth and cloth with belts is working as expected with other animated deformers.
