Methods for making evolving cloud turbulence

I'm working on a project where I want to move a single cloud through different rooms.

The cloud will be stationery in space in C4D and then placed on top of the footage in After Effects, but I want to add some turbulence or evolving movement to give the impression that the vapour of the cloud and it's shape are being affected by a slight breeze as I move it through the scene in After Effects.

Here's a sample image of what I'm trying to achieve.

Here's the cloud I made:

I followed this tutorial that uses TurbulenceFD but I think it's more for creating static images because once I'f got the cloud to form it keeps forming over and over again, I can't stop it from forming and then add some wind that affects it:

Does anyone have any ideas?
