Hi there!

I have a simple scene where I have a floor with a sphere on it and a plane casting light on both of them.
Is there anyway to have still that plane casting light on that sphere but no on the floor and still having the sphere casting shadow on the floor as well?

I'm sure there's a way.. to many headache for now! I can't figure it out!

One way to do it is to duplicate your light and make it only interact with some objects via the exclude/include tab...

see attached 9243_lightexclusion.c4d.zip

things may get complicated down the road if you have more interaction or different lights/illumination.
