Hey all! I've referenced these forums many times for help in the past but this is my first time really posting. :)

My question revolves around adding multiple Vray materials to a cloner. Basically, I am making a chess board with a cube in a C4D cloner and animating them with a plain effector. However, I need the cubes to vary between white and black Vray materials to mimic a chessboard. I know that with standard Cinema materials, I could simply use a multi-shader and apply it to the cloner. However, with Vray materials, I do not believe this is an option. To your knowledge, is there a way to use multiple Vray materials on an cloner in Cinema so that my chess board could vary between white and black tiles?

Thank you for your time!

I discovered that you can actually copy the multi-shader from a C4D standard material and paste it into the diffuse channel of a Vray material, allowing you to use the mutli-shader on a cloner with Vray!
