I am working on a flyover animation of the seafloor in Cinema 16, and have made a terrain using grayscale height info, using a Displacer object on a plane. I don't want to use the Displacement Channel in a material because i need to see the terrain as I animate over it. I am getting edges rising up, which I don't want, even though the grayscale image does not have white at the edges. How can I get rid of these edges? Here's a render showing what I mean.

if there is not a single pixel white edge (zoom *way* in) then try turning off Tile in Displacer/Shading - that's assuming you are using the shader in the displacer...

I would scale the texture UVs up very slightly.

Thanks for the replies! There are no white pixels on the edge that I can find. I'll look into turning off Tile, that's probably a good idea. But what I ended up doing yesterday afternoon is scaling up the dimensions in the Mapping area of the Displacer to 100.1%, and that got rid of it. I will try out the tiling suggestion also, though. Thanks, guys.
