Can someone explain to me why the front right corner of this form is not affected by the Subdivison Surface object?

I've tried adjusting the subdivisions but to no avail.

without being able to see the file it's hard to tell exactly, other than there are more points than there should be (or I would expect) if it's just a plane and it is not doubled or something.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that the plane was created by duplicating one part?

I don't know but here is the file:

if you select all the polys (with the SubD off) all the double color stripes (orange and blue) indicate there are coplanar faces (polys sharing the same space). It's possible to make it without those, of course... are you going for the sharp indent in the centre? If so, it's possible to do that with SubD weighting but leave the rest clean for smoothness - it depends on what your end result is supposed to be.

No actually i just wanted all the corners to be rounded when the SubD is applied.

So i would just need to make sure there are no coplanar faces?
