So i have a 2 tier animation setup i'd like to build. The first part is an object building. Part of it has a row of bars, so i made that row with a cloner, and then applied a step effector to it so the bars all grow out in sequence. All working so far.... the object builds to completion over 15 frames.
Once this first animation is setup, i wanted to clone it out to make a whole line of these things building up, on at a time. i group all the original animating objects into a null, and put that null into a new cloner (so now this cloner is cloning a cloner with a step effector already applied to it, along with the other objects). I then add ANOTHER step effector to this 2nd cloner, give it a time offset, but it does NOT offset the animation of the clones.
I dont see any reason why this shouldnt work, but it currently isnt. I've playing around with many of the cloner settings, as well as the step settings, but no combination is applying the time offset to the 2nd cloner.
