I'm doing my first rig of a hand and I have a question regarding creating goals. In my scenario I have a hand with a small amount of forearm and I'm creating a rig for it including a wrist joint. I want to be able to animate the final rig so I can move the forearm which is there independently of the rest of the hand. I currently have a bone which stems from where the elbow would be to the wrist. The same way you can keep your hand still but still move your forearm independently of it. When I create an IK Chain between the elbow and wrist bone (which I label as 'Upper Wrist') and create a goal from that the goal appears at the wrist which isn't ideal. My ideal scenario would be to have a goal at the start of the elbow bone so I can move it without having to move the hand. Is this possible and if so how can I do it?
