I am trying to constrain a piston head to move only up and down in the shaft. I have constrain to position Y only (P.Y), and that works great, but i need to rotate the whole system to a 45 degree angle.

Is there a track that i could lock the piston head to? or maybe change the constraint space to object rather than global? Suggestions? Thanks!

how is it constructed? Can you post the scene (or enough of it to illustrate)?

the quickest way is to make an Instance of the workingPiston group and rotate that. I would have constructed the group a bit differently but haven't had time to test if the constraints will work any better with a slightly different construction... if I find anything that works (other than the Instance, which does work) I'll reply again
