Fracture object texturing w/ external compositing (After Effects)?

Hi CC team,
What I have is a 3D model of a giant monitor like you see at football stadiums.
It's a plane with a video texture applied, then the polygons were disconnected and I dropped everything into a fracture object. Next I'm using effectors to make the polygons fly in and out with a bit of randomness.
Also applying DoF, which looks great. I have deliverables where the content on the screen will change, but the geometry, effectors, etc in C4D all stay the same. Problem is, the renders are taking quite a while (4hrs for 300 frames).
Is there a way to swap out the screen content in After Effects, while maintaining the DoF?
