I have an electronic device made of anodised aluminium, however the front panel has a few LED lights that when lit up need to glow.
I have created a "luminance map" and applied it to the luminance channel of the material so that only the areas where the lights are will glow. I don't want the whole front panel to glow (Which is what happens when I assign a composite tag for the post "Glow" render effect). Is it possible to set the post "glow" render to a specific object's luminance channel? (Much like how it works in Element 3D for After Effects)

your reference image looks like it would need luminance only and not glow but if you are intent on having a glow then do you have Advanced Render?
Object Glow can only be limited to a poly selection there is not another way to limit it from making an entire object glow. AR Glow has the ability to glow only at the brightest areas and or only glow on certain colors so it can be mapped
