I have a cell dividing, and I'm using a meatball to divide the cell.
I want to clone objects onto the surface of this meatball. When I use surface mode for the cloner (I'm using surface to give the clones a little more randomness than using vertex mode), the clones jitter along the surface as the meatball polys change. Anyone have any suggestions for having the clones be stable?
I don't think it's possible since the metaballs are continually generating a new surface and the cloner has to recalculate each time the surface changes. Maybe you can use vertex mode and use another method to give it more randomness. Maybe a Random effector or shader effector with noise shader affecting visibility?
