Going for a realistic looking flag animation ( blowing in the wind on a high detailed modelled flag pole.)
İ have the cloth made out of a plane 100x100 polygons so that the motion looks high detailed and high rez. However, after i fix the points and start the animation, the flag starts to try to tear itsself half and the simulation goes crazy.
What might have been the problem here? I know i can not lover the polycount. it gets off after frame 670 or so ( after it gets the 2dn drag )
And ı'm not quite sure this is mainly due to not enabling the self repulsion (collision button) which the only effect i can detect going is the simulation time getting really really slow.
