I'm new to this forum and I need your help (like many people I guess).
I want to create an animation with a character on C4d that I created. I wish to apply on him bvh mocap (I have a lot of its). So I did my character's rig with the same names and the same hierarchy as my bvh to use the retarget tools.
The problem is, or rather are the axes that are different, I used the tools "joint alignment." I put the two skeleton aligned on the Y axis of the world.
On frame zero, it works without problems but when I start the animation, it is a disaster, my character becomes... I can't tell you but it's horrible. I suppose that the axes have moved and are not in the same rotate.
I made several attempts to align other axes (I read somewhere that the Z was a better idea), try changing the rotations one per one ...
I know I forgot something, a solution or a reason why my wish is impossible, but I do not know what.
