Doing some R&D for a project coming up in about a month and I'm having trouble finding resources on more advanced IBL for integrating 3D into live action footage. More specifically, I'm trying to get a handle on the technique of taking HDR panoramas on set, then extracting the light sources from the HDRI and putting them on cards which are spatially correct within the 3d scene, so that the lighting comes from physically realistic places rather than all from infinity. That way 3d elements can pass under lights from the HDR scan and move in and out of them. Most resources I've found online are rather elementary though and don't really detail best practices and techniques past basic outdoor spherical HDRI. Are there any books anyone can direct me to that they like?
