Baking Alembic PLA info to a Cinema 4D object

Hey guys,

I'm really surprised I can't find anything about this - figured someone would have wanted to do it by now.

I need to take an animation that was exported out of Maya to Cinema 4D as an ABC (Alembic) file.

I need to somehow extract the PLA/animation info from the model that comes in as an ABC exported model and be able to work with the keyframes in C4D.

Anyone know how this is possible? Method? Plugin?

Thanks,
Brian

Nitrobake can do it: http://nitro4d.com/blog/donationware/nitrobake/

Lennart Wallen also has a free plugin that may be able to do it; maybe try that first. http://tcastudios.com/?p=19

Adam...always with the great answers!

Thanks a million, Steady Bake worked flawlessly.

Really surprised this isn't built in to C4D.

Cheers,
Brian
