c4d hypernurbs weight on explosion object

I am using an explosion on a plane, I want each square that explodes out to have smooth edges. So I uses hypernurbs weight. But when I do this the top part is how I want it but the bottom half are all circles.
How do I make them all like the top squares?
What am I missing? Any help would be very much appreciated.
