I'm not sure if this should go in the Forum or the Final Cut Forum, but since it relates to C4D as well, I guess I'll start here.
I rendered an animation in C4D using HDV/HDTV 720 29.97 FPS, Square Pixels.
After bringing the animation into Final Cut Pro X everything seemed fine at first. I did a little editing, and then when playing it in FCPX, the movement was somewhat choppy. Even after exporting it there was some choppiness. I believe I narrowed it down to having done several "HOLD" Retimings on the footage, but that had never been an issue before in FCPX. After removing the Hold Retimings, everything played smoothly.
Any idea why that would happen, or how it might be corrected?
