Morph An Object Into Another

Hi Everyone.
I am wondering if there is a way to morph a sphere into a model of a car without plug-ins.
Thanks in advance
Simon

No, not really possible. Closest you could come would be to use MoGraph, but you'd get a sort of leggo look because it would have to use clones instead of point morphing.

Point morphing requires that the original and morph targets have the same point count and same point order. One possibility might be to use the sculpt tools to sculpt a sphere into the shape of a car....

Cheers Guys, thanks for the input.
I have another idea, perhaps using the car in a mograph cloner in object mode, and increasing the amount of spheres (clones) over time, then cutting it with the car in AE. Or something like that...
Thanks again...
