I need a random coil of rope which has fallen into a heap. (Will save the fixed result as an object.)

The rope sort of "melts" when hitting the floor.

Can anyone help with the settings in the softbody tag to achieve this? - I have tried "everything"...

Watched the TUT - Very clear and precise (recommended!).

This saved my day. - Fantastic!

The clue - as you say - is the "Hair module's Spline Dynamics"

Thank you very much!
