Another Alpha Problem

this should be very straight forward.
I have a a material with different Maps (color, specular, normal, and displacement) and want to add an alpha channel.
I used the original color map that had an alpha channel as well as a black and white image, but both give me a thin black line on the top of the plane, where the material is applied to (see image attached)
