Adding a cap to a spline extrusion

I just want to add a cap to an extrusion, but it doesn´t seem to work. I tired closing the spline, but that
seems to invert the cap.

Weird!
Any help would be amazing!

Thanks! =)

Are you extruding in the right direction of the spline?

Your spline is made up of multiple, disconnected segments. You'll need to select both points at every intersection and run the "join" command to turn it into a single segment spline.

Thanks for your reply Adam!
Is that by going to: Mesh_spline_join segment ?

Then I seem this happening now....

I get this even if I select just two or so points. It then joins two points together that I don´t want to be joined. Either that or I select all and you get the result I posted here.

with overlapping points like in your multi-segmented spline it might be easier to select both the points at a junction then use the Weld tool

That's the right command, but you should only select two overlapping points before you run it. You can tell where the breaks are by looking at the spline color. Spline segments always run from blue to white (or VV), so when everything is connected you should have a single blue-to-white gradient running the whole length of the spline.

AFAIK the weld command doesn't work with splines.

weld does work with splines (at least inside one spline)
