Creating a replaceable material for PSD.

Hi, I am trying to overlay logos/different materials on a 3D model of a golf club head. The client would like to be able to easily switch out these materials via a smart object in Photoshop.
Is there any way to UV wrap an object in Photoshop with a new material?

What version of Photoshop are you using? Might be easier (picture complexity pending of course) to render out another club using the UV-edit there...

If you have CS5 or CS6 extended and R14, R14 comes with a Photoshop plugin that let's you open Cinema files in Photoshop, complete with objects, textures, lights, and cameras. Check out the intro video here: https://www.cineversity.com/vidplaylist/new_in_cinema_4d_r14

Once you save out the PS file your client could replace the textures to his heart's content. I think you have to do the UV layout in Cinema, but UV scale and offset can be adjusted in PS.
