I've got some trouble setting up my dynamic spline. In my scene i've added a linear spline, with 20 points (type:linear, intermediate points: uniform) and added spline dynamics. When i start the animation, the spline moves/drops/gets flexible like it should, and ive let the animation play out till the spline stopped moving and got it a resting state. Then ive set its initial state.
The problem. When i start the animation again, the spline doesnt stay in its initial possition and stretches a little bit more. Like it gets the same forces a second time.
Any thoughts how i could fix this are much appreciated!
spline dynamics are like hair, dynamics start from whatever the rest/initial state is set to. If you need the spline to be dynamic I think you have to build in some 'relax' time to let it settle, if you need the shape to stay in the initial state you just set you can crank Rest Hold up to 100
