Making a stretched texture look even all around it

Hi, I'm just doing a test with Sweep Nurbs and applying a texture to it.

My question is; I want the texture that I apply to look even all around it and not look like it's stretched on the bends and shrunk at the ends when the fillet caps are as in this screenshot:

How would I go about achieving a nice even texture all over my over my model?

Here's the model with it's texture in case you need it:

Thanks.

if it needs to follow the shape of the object (UVW mapping) you have to accept stretching in the bends but you can limit the apparent length of the stretch by tiling the texture on the object. To get the caps to tile the same as the rest of the object you'd have to apply separate textures on the caps with different settings.

I'll give that a bash, thanks a lot for your reply.

Hello Scott, an easy way to help you is by going into the texture tag on the object and messing around with the Projection.
