So I am having this trouble when trying to export my newly made .obj
I am not having troubles exporting it but rather how the exported obj looks.
So I added a bump map and a displacement map to my material and added it to my obj so it would have a "spiky" look. when I quick render it too see how it looks it has spikes and everything is perfect but when I
export it, and re-add it in c4d the spikes and all my work on the obj is gone.
what am I doing wrong ?
displacement and bump are render time effects so you won't be able to export with the displacement without using something like the Displacement deformer (at least in C4D you can - I'm not sure but you seem to be exporting into C4D)
