Track Randomizer Object?
on Jun 9, 2012 at 9:57:20 am

Hi, yesterday i was creating an "Exploding" sphere, and i made everything fine, but now i want to parent an null object to each piece so that i can export the position data into AE and finish compositing in AE

But i can't find a way for the null object to move to the position that the ranzomizer give's to the piece it just stays in the first position it was as a spehere.

Here are some screenshots ^^U

Give your cloner an external compositing tag and check the "children" box. Then check the "3D data" option in the render>save>compositing section and Cinema will export a null for each clone (or a solid if you choose that option).

Amh, no, i din't got any null object for the pieces i only got the cameras.

Also i'm using a randomizer not a cloner.

Sorry, I missed your screen shots. So instead of putting the external compositing tag on a cloner, as I said, put it on the Fracture Object and check the "children" box in the tag.

Then, in the compositing export render options, check the "Include 3D data" box.

That should give you the nulls you seek.
