cool! yeah absolutely, i'm a total newb but this gives me so much to work on and tinker with. hopefully i can apply some image to this and get the effect i want and then later on animate and make it pop.
If you'll notice, there's a plane object in the scene I uploaded. I used that to get a visual presentation of the mapping that the shader effector would apply. So what you do is put your image in a material's color channel, place the material on the plane, if needed, set the texture mapping (planar) and scale/rotation with the texture axis tool ... and THEN drag that texture tag into the Shader Effector's Shading>Texture Tag link box.
That tells the effector to use the material and projection from the plane and apply it to the clones.
