right .. ive been trying to rig up a flexible hose which at each end is connected to two seperate objects ..ie:- between a helmet and back pack and i want to be able to animate the head turn with the flexible hose connected to the backpack so the hose can move with the head turn(as it seems to flex with the movement of the helmet )
( if you can get my jist ) lol .. its been bugging me for ages ..

as always any help would be awesome !! :P

thank you
Tony .

I think the easiest way to do it is with spline dynamics (tag) -- which is somewhat oddly part of the Hair system. You can use hair constraint tags to lock the ends of your spline to the two objects, and then sweep the spline to make a hose.

it's an R13 file. you could use the demo but it was easy, I'll redo it in 10 and post that later.

3624_airhose10.c4d.zip

there are two constraints, each is holding one end of the spline to the head and pack respectively and the Spline Dynamics tag makes the rest of the spline flexible. It would want to wobble more so I put on 1% of Rest Hold to keep it more stable.
