C4d Hair cloning problems

how would i go about cloning an object that has hair. I've parented the hair to the object modeled added that to a null and then cloned the null object. the problem is i keep getting the singular hair object in the middle of the clone? I played around with display and composite tags, hair tags. been at this for about a week now.....please help out some one

put the cloner inside a Connect object and then add hair to the Connect (not before). That will work as long as the cloner is affected by only mograph effectors (if any). If you try to move the clones with dynamics it doesn't work well always (sometimes yes, sometimes no) but it can be fixed if you cache the dynamics first.
