Hello!

I have tried to make a material of a video.
I imported it into the Color-> texture.
The problem is that the material becomes black.

I have searched a solution and had found the Leawo Video Converter.
I treid to used it but any video turnes to black in Cinema 4d material.
I have tried some videos, and some converts for each but the entire videos turnes to black.

I also tried to download codexs but it doesnt influence anything.

What should I do?

Thanks a lot!

Is it black when you render?

alwayz- when im rendering or not.
its like the material doesnt load the file,
but when im clicking on "animation" it opens the wmv file in the computer (so the path is ok).

I wouldn't suggest using a WMV at all. Cinema 4D (and any other 3d program for that matter) prefer image sequences.

Use the Adobe Media Encoder or your editing program (or After Effects, if you must) to render it out as an image sequence (in its own folder). Place that image sequence folder in your tex directory for your project. Also, make sure you have animate in preview checked, or you won't be able to see it playing unless you render. A bit more info (with pictures) here: [link]
