Hi. I'm creating some scratches on my material in the bump channel by stretching out some noise. It looks great. The problem is that it seems to change every frame and ends up looking like static. Also it's not rotating with my object. It remains lines up horizontally the entire time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Sounds like you have animation turned on in the noise properties. As far as it not rotating, you probably need to change the projection in the noise shader or texture tag. It must be set to frontal or camera projection?
