Explosion FX Help needed R13

I am using the Explosion FX Deformer to blow up a brick wall in an animation. It looks good but I can not figure out how to get the pieces of the wall after it explodes to NOT go thru the floor object which is the ground. I have tried rigid body tags on both then on just the floor and nothing I have tried has worked. Does anyone know how I can get the pieces to land on the floor like rubble after an explosion?
