How to Makie Gears Move Together and Not Intersect with One Another?

I'm using R11. Like the title of the post explains, I'm trying to figure out an easy way to get interlocked gears to move together without intersecting by accident. Is there a way to apply a solid body tag and implement some type of physics without needing a PHD? I'm open to any ideas. The easier the better.

Thanks.

Best regards,

This is pretty straight forward in expresso, I know Brian posted couple examples here some time ago.
Otherwise there is a free plug in that does a great job:

I would not bother trying it with dynamics before C4D R12.

Or if you want to do it the easy way (always my preference), C4D Jack has a free plugin: http://www.c4d-jack.de/site/en/downloads/doc_details/26-gearbuilder.html
