Hi,

I have made a squirrel in C4D and rigged it but no matter what I do some vertices in the belly area won't bind to the skeleton and I don't know why or how to fix it.
The rest of the Squirrel is binding perfectly.

It represents a lot of work and I'd really like to be able to use it and be able to start animating.
Does anyone have any (step by step) advice?
Thank you and Happy Christmas!

Try this:

* Open the Weight Manager (character>managers);

* make sure the weighted geometry is selected;

* in the WM's Weights tab, scroll through the list and Ctrl + Click on any points that have zero (or less than 100% total weight;

* check the "link selection" box at the top of the weights tab;

* go to the Auto Weight tab and click "Calculate".

That should fix it.

When you're painting weights with the weight tool you sometimes have to uncheck the "visible only" option to weight hidden points.
