OK, so I have a text object, with a gradient texture from red to yellow, 2D-V,with mapping on frontal. I have the selection on C1. The animation is just a position movement in Z-Space, with a depth change as well. My problem is, when rendering before the text has reached it's final location, the gradient only shows up as yellow. http://gyazo.com/ae67c1775744c60e4467192bb7108ec0
I want the gradient on the face of the text to look like this http://gyazo.com/c3fbd16c479e3e890f0a79ecc0164d1c throughout the animation. Lighting I am using GSG SoftBox and Ringlight. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Try using Flat mapping rather than Frontal

When I use that, the gradient does appear further back in the animation, but I can't seem to get the smooth red to yellow curve such as before, http://gyazo.com/48d883f7f5078761c9b47fd1fc7072c8

You need to rotate/scale the planar mapping using the texture axis tool.
