Is it possible to stretch included noise shaders? When I try to stretch any of the Relative Scale fields in Noise dialog, the low-res preview result looks about right, but the actual rendering will not stretch noise pattern anywhere near the anticipated value. Is there any way around it?

trial and error.
Play with the scale values you get completely different results.
Here is a good resource regarding noise.

Thank you for the link. This reference can be quite helpful for me, yet it is a pity, that such simple operation as scaling of 2d pattern can be so unintuitive...

in the viewport's Options menu turn on Enhanced OpenGL and make sure Noises is enabled too
