I want to cut any object randomly and automaticaly, to force it to explode/break with an physical impact. I will use the physical tag or tool in d physics engine. I know that I can braek the object manualy by the cutting poligons randomly. but I m searching the other ways. Anyone can help me? THANKS TO ALL OF THE COWS :)
You can use the explosion FX deformer to break an object into chunks of polygons, but it won't create new, random polygons.
The best choice for this is to use one of the many shatter plugins that are now available. GeoTools (http://www.remotion4d.net/index_main_2.0.html) and NitroBlast (http://nitro4d.com/blog/) are two good ones.
