By increasing an effector's position in the x plane, an animation happens in which, one by one, the blocks fly upwards, off the top of the tower, and off the screen--starting with the topmost block. So as the effector is being moved, the animation it's driving includes a pause between one block flying off, and the next block following it.
I want to arrange this in such a way that I can then animate the sequence playing 'forwards' or 'backwards' by keyframing the effector movement in the appropriate direction.
I thought this would be possible by using a combination of step effector, and the time offset parameter, perhaps using a second effector too. But despite reading all the relevant material I could find, I'm still rather fuzzy on how time offset, weight and falloff work when effectors are stacked.
I'm trying to achieve this using C4d 11.5 and Mograph.
