I been asked to "clean up" an OBJ file that was created with a 3D scanner. And there's an absurd amount of polygons, which makes it very hard to even see what I'm looking at. Does anyone here have any experience (or advice) with working on these ridiculously high poly mesh files? So far all I can do is hide everything but a small section at a time ... just thought I would ask and see if there was an easier way to go about it? Should I reduce the poly count somehow first? I would really appreciate your advice!
