Hey Guys,

help me out if you can please..

if you would have to create this effect, how would you go about animating the polygons to get this building effect?

http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-video-6477787-house-blueprint.php

I have to do a commercial for a client and what I am going for is this;

[camera slow tracks forward]
actor is standing infront of a table speaking with a blue print of
a house on the work desk
then a house starts building ontop of the paper matching the design

guys, please help me out here if you can

thanks in advance!

there are many ways to do something like that. It might be good to look at this http://www.beeple-crap.com/the SubPrime one is kind of like what you are after and as he builds the houses more than one idea comes out. Not necessarily the right kind of thing but educational. The C4D file for subprime is in the resources section.

Here's a couple of mini tutorials I've done showing approaches you might use:

Happy to help. I would use joints instead of bones now as joints are the newer/better system. Still tricky, however. ;-)
