swap the colors to a greyscale image Black low white high and use it in a relief object, or displacement channel.

my goal is to obtain a topographic colored texture... a graphic vision of wrinkles...

a spectrum from blue to red (blue is lower, red is higher)

like on this exemple :

how to obtain a texture like this ?

thank you to help me...

Do you want to generate the texture from the object, or do you want to generate the object from the texture?

In the former case you could use the falloff shader. In the latter, as Randy suggested, you could use material displacement.

in fact i simply need a way to put a color spectrum texture (or shader) of a modelized (a part of skin) to simulate the wrinkles "steps" from lowest position (blue) to upper position (red) surface

the model is ok and validate by the client... (it's a part of a human's head skin + wrinkles")

i just need a way to easily colorized my model...

how do i use the falloff shader ?

is it the solution ?

i'm on 11.5

thx

Falloff assigns a gradient based upon slope from a set direction. Here's an example that I think does what you're looking for: 728_falloffshader.c4d.zip
