Any suggestions on how to recreate the light lines in this animation:

http://www.trollback.com/ESPNEWS/index.html

I work most often in Cinema 4d and I'm trying to do it using either Sweep Nurbs or Spline Wrap, and working on some shaders with gradient alphas to try to recreate it.

I had tried this a while back with Particular in After Effects based on tutorials here and on Video Copilot but it was too tricky to control the movement and I got some unpredictable jitters in the line... but if anyone has any suggestions on how to do this using Particular I'd be happy to hear it.

Thanks.
