Extrude nurbs - multiple paths

Does anyone know of a way to use just 1 extrude nurbs object on multiple spline objects and have it extrude everything. What Im trying to get around is this: When I typically import an .AI file of say a logo design, I always have mutiple paths, and when I add those paths to a Extrude Nurbs, it only extrudes one of the paths....so i have to go through connecting all the paths into one before it will extrude the entire thing. It takes so much time, there has to be an easier way.

Thanx to anyone who can help.

-Eric

Eric,
you need to toggle the hierarchial button, under object on the nurb extrude.

Also, you can get Michael Welter's free SplineConnector plugin if you want to use multiple splines in a sweep object: http://www.welter-4d.de/fplugs/freeplugins_en.html

Put them all under 1 extrude and check the hierarhical button (extrude object -> object). This makes all your spline act under 1 parent extrude.

hope this help,
