Fracturing an object with Thinking Particles

I am using ThinkingParticles in Max2016 to destroy an object.
I followed this tutorial of Will Wallace, really a nice tutorial, learned me a lot:
I have a similar result, but I have one problem and I can't figger it out.
So, in this tutorial, Will creates a helper with particles and this determines the area where the object shatters. When I move the helper, the fractures on the object move with it. So that's all good...
But when I animate the helper, the fractures on the object stay static while the fractures should actually follow the helper like when I moved it without animation.
Does any one have any experience with ThinkingParticles in Max? I am really stuck here, but I am almost there, i know it.
