3Ds max has not Reffrence Editor

Myself Mangesh and i like to use 3ds max which is really good tool for modelling and for all production pipe line i say modelling becouse of it gives various libarty in it than any other 3d software.
But still i have a one problem with rigging and production pipeline like if i work on rigging a character and i do it with basic and i have to pass it to Animator and then work on it So what can i do ?
Because it has not Refference Editor like Maya and it is really powerfull tool.
i tried it from xreff but and container but it still not as like that
