Hi, I am trying to make to leap from photoshop 3d to max, this forum and has been a great tool. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how to inflate the facings on 3d text as I did in photoshop. If you look at the photos you can see what I mean...Photoshop has an inflate sides extrude option that gives you nice rounded bubble type letters. I cant seem to duplicate it in max. I have tried adding a shell to the front polygons then a mesh smooth modifier but I get jagged edges. I played around with mesh smooth and extrude at the top of the modifer panel above edit poly (where I picked just the front facings of the text), but I get weird indentations on the front facings, even when I drop the iterations down to 0...I am only about three weeks into this so I'm pretty new at it but any help is greatly appreciated!
