Hello,

I am searching the web for 3ds max tutorials on modeling gamepads or game controllers (like Xbox 360 or PS3 controllers), but I can't find anything.

So is there any site that has tutorials on gamepads?

Thanks in advance.

Mike -

I don't know that you're going to find anything that specific, so you might want to broaden your search and look for other devices which have keypads and controllers (phones, mobile devices, TV clickers, and the like). If you take a look on TurboSquid, which sells high quality (for the most part) 3D models, you'll find a lot of examples, some free:

Any of the Area tutorials on Polygonal Modeling will get you moving as well:

And there's a wonderful book on Poly Modeling from Focal Press, called Poly Modeling with 3DS Max - Thinking Outside the Box, by Todd Daniele. The type of modeling you'll be dealing with will involve control keys which are recessed into the handle, and most of the controllers have sweeping curves, so you don't have to be too literal in your search.
