basically, it consists of a glass sphere free falling which shatters on a floor/plane. for some reason I can't get the sphere to fracture upon contact with the ground after falling. the only way I can fracture it is if I pre-fracture before running the simulation. but then you can see the pieces fall out of place even before hitting the ground.
I've also made the material solidity to 0.1 and it still doesnt shatter on impact.
any suggestions to get this simulation going would be greatly appreciated. seems like it should be simple. im not sure if this forum is best for specific plugins but thought I'd try anyway.
I've got 3ds Max 2012 64bit and running Rayfire 1.56
